About us
We are 4 people, who want to do all the legwork surrounding publication. We are the ones who will contact publishers, plan how those who write can be supported, find translators, raise funds and plan editing processes. Our motivation springs out of a desire that such a book is published rather than it being our book – and we do not plan to write any of the texts ourselves. We have different experiences as a group, but we are all white, identify as trans/queer and have a university education.

Lukas (he/him), currently lives in Berlin, where he works in a climbing forest and teaches at the university. Lukas has grown up in the working class and is currently thinking a lot about why he has become an academic. He is interested in this project because he is frustrated by the lack of good (Danish) resources for anyone who questions their gender and wishes that he had found a similar book in the library when he was younger.

Josephine (all pronouns) lives in Aalborg and will soon start as a volunteer advisor in LGBT + Denmark's new initiative in North Jutland. With an academic background in social issues and gender studies, Josephine has begun to explore gender and identity through a norm-critical approach. That is why Josephine is also involved in the project: to make room for the gender experiences that fall outside the norm.

Buster (they/them) lives in Copenhagen. They are a part of this project because they want to see a broader representation of transness created by trans people themselves, as it has largely been in the encounter with such, that they have been able to explore themself and their own gender identity. Buster spends a lot of time dreaming of getting a puppy, finding a trans-inclusive part-time apprenticeship, landing perfect tricks on the skate ramp, and the total downfall of the system.
